Writeshop: Meeting farmers’ context-specific climate information service needs — at scale

There is growing interest in investing in climate information and advisory services that contribute to the resilience and adaptation of smallholder farmers in the developing world.  A substantial body of knowledge and experience gives insights into how to meet farmers’ needs for climate information and advisory services at a local scale, but scaling up services from a pilot to a national scale introduces many challenges. In the context of the broader literature, this writeshop will synthesize lessons and evidence from the efforts of CCAFS and its partners, across regions, to meeting farmers’ climate service needs at scale.
